In 2013, two watch enthusiasts named Jake and Kramer dropped out of college with the dream of reinventing the industry to cut out brand inflation and retail markup of popular watch brands. Like many people, tired of big brand markups, the two founders set out to create a direct to consumer model. As MVMT was founded, their goal is to change the way thinking about fashion by offering high-quality and fashionable minimalist products at an affordable price.
